If you don't feel confident in partitioning your drive, a Windows reinstallation process poorly guided can result in all your data being deleted from your computer. Your files, installed programmes and operating system configuration settings may be deleted!
Before reinstalling Windows you should make backups of all your data - Of course, you should always have up-to-date backups, as hard disks can sometimes fail. However, when Windows is reinstalled, these backups will be the only copies. Make sure you have up-to-date copies of all important files before continuing.
1. Insert the software disc into the drive and then restart the computer.
Set the BIOS to boot from CD/DVD or USB flash drive if you have prepared a bootable Windows flash drive.
3. read all the installation steps carefully and take care to correctly configure the previously mentioned disk partitioning.
4. after the successful installation of the operating system, remember to install all the drivers on the computer.
5. it may turn out that not all the drivers will install correctly, in which case we recommend that you look for them on the manufacturer's website. Up-to-date drivers for laptops and desktops can be found on the hardware manufacturers' websites - usually under Download or Support.
